I’ll keep this short since others in cyberspace have done a much better job of discussing this, but the Washington Capitals are going to the playoffs!!! I never thought that they’d pull it off, especially after that pitiful performance against Atlanta before Thanksgiving. But Ovechkin (who should easily win the Hart Trophy for Most Valuable Player), Bruce Boudreau (who should win the Adams for Coach of the Year), and George McPhee (sadly there’s no award for GM of the year) have done a tremendous job turning the team around. Bring on Philly!!

Imagine my shock and excitement. After getting Jim’s approval, I uploaded the video and waited for the Oprah people to get back to me. And waited. And waited. And waited. The Billy Joel episode aired last Monday without any Youtube clips. I guess they decided to go in a different direction.
